Three Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 mobile cranes delivered to First Gulf Sky in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabian crane rental company First Gulf Sky has taken delivery of three Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 mobile cranes, filling a critical gap in their fleet between 100 and 160 tonnes.

At the handover in Ehingen: Representatives from Liebherr and First Gulf Sky celebrate the delivery of three LTM 1120-4.1 mobile cranes.

The Most Powerful 4-Axle Crane on the Market

The LTM 1120-4.1 is the most powerful 4-axle crane currently available, featuring the longest boom in its class and enormous lifting capacities in steep positions. These characteristics make the 120-tonne crane extremely flexible and reduce transport costs, as it can handle applications that would otherwise require larger 5-axle cranes.

"Thanks to its compact dimensions, the LTM 1120-4.1 is ideal for industrial applications. For us, it's the wild card of the fleet — it can be used flexibly in a wide variety of work situations," says Ali Saleh Al Faidmah, Owner of First Gulf Sky.

Built for Demanding Industrial Work

The three new cranes will be deployed across a range of lifting applications including industrial plants, steelworks, maintenance and repairs, component replacement, and conversions. These time-critical operations are technically demanding and often involve heavy, complex lifts.

"We deliberately chose Liebherr because of the strong combination of quality, reliability, and strong customer service. Liebherr offers unbeatable added value in demanding working environments," Al Faidmah explains. The company is already planning to purchase five more units of the successor model, the LTM 1120-4.2.
