Over the past few months, the MK roadshow, organised by the Liebherr plant in Ehingen, has toured the globe and made stops in Eastern Europe and South America. The aim of the tour was to raise awareness of the mobile construction crane concept and demonstrate its advantages directly on site.

Ehingen (Donau) (Germany), 15 December 2025 - From October to mid-November, Liebherr presented the innovative mobile construction crane concept in Poland, Czechia, Hungary and Romania - both in branches and directly on construction sites and at customers' premises. The roadshow also made stops in Chile and Peru in spring and autumn. Visitors had the opportunity to see the benefits of the crane concept for themselves at the Expomin and Perumin trade fairs and at exclusive customer demonstrations. Numerous customers took the opportunity to experience the mobile construction cranes live during the roadshow and to engage in intensive dialogue with Liebherr experts. The focus was on practical demonstrations that illustrated the concept and possible applications.

The MK concept represents flexibility and efficiency. Thanks to the taxi crane principle, Liebherr mobile construction cranes are ready for use in a very short time and enable several construction site changes in one day. Only one person is needed for assembly and operation. With their vertical tower and compact footprint, they are ideal for narrow city centres or, for example, for handling work and the installation of photovoltaic systems. The lift cab and modern assistance systems ensure comfort and safety. The fully electrified operation is also future-orientated: emission-free, low-noise and cost-efficient - optionally with construction site power, an integrated power generator or with a separate energy storage unit such as the Liduro Power Port for self-sufficient use. MK cranes thus close the gap between stationary construction cranes and mobile cranes.

The simple concept of Liebherr mobile cranes was impressively demonstrated during the roadshow: salespeople set up the MK themselves and demonstrated how easy it is to use in practice. The feedback from customers was hugely positive - the MK concept was very well received. In addition to several enquiries, a purchase has already been concluded and the machine has been delivered to the customer. Further events are planned for the coming year, including in Norway.
